Boards, Cards & Dice

Boards Cards and Dice is a social group organised by  Runnymede Games Club

Our aims are to provide a social space for adult to meet and interact whilst playing games. Through this we reduce isolation and loneliness in the community  by encouraging adults (who might otherwise have stayed at home alone) to come out of their homes and socialise with others.

We started in September 2021, and since then many friendships have developed.

We try to be as inclusive as possible with the range of games played and welcome people of all abilities and ages.

Our players are aged from early 20s to early 90s and the games range from cribbage, bridge (we have a teacher), chess, Rumikub, Carcassone, Azul, Tri-dominoes and many more. We also have a jigsaw puzzle table and puzzle books available.

We provide light refreshments at 12:30 and the tea trolley makes its round at 2:30. Players can arrive any time from 12:30, stay as long as they choose until we finish at 15:30.

This club is free and does not require pre-booking.
